2023 Excellence in Masonry Awards Banquet 

We will celebrate the 32nd Annual Excellence in Masonry Architectural Awards on September 22nd at The Scottsdale Resort, McCormick Ranch. Cocktail reception & registration 6 pm to 7 pm. Welcome at 7:15 pm - Dinner at 7:30 pm - Awards at 8:30 pm  - Conclude at 9:30pm

About the Event

Submit Projects

The 2023 Submittal Packets must be purchased by April 21st. Completed packets are due on June 5th.

Jury Review

This year's jury will convene the week of July 15th.

Award Criteria

The criteria for projects for the Excellence in Masonry Awards is very broad:

  • Project can be anywhere in Arizona.

  • Can be residential, commercial, monuments/entry ways or architectural perimeter walls.

  • Completed any time between Jan. 1, 2018 through March 31, 2023.

  • Masonry must be a “predominant component” of the project.

    • Simulated stone cannot exceed 25% of masonry contract value.

  • Projects that didn’t win previously can be re-submitted, as long as they were completed between the above dates. Every jury is different!

 

Monuments/Entryways and Architectural Perimeter Walls are brand new this year. You can show off older projects!

Schedule:

  • April 30, 2023 - Deadline for Entry Form and Fee

  • June 5, 2023 - Completed Submittal Packet Due

  • Week of July 10, 2023 - Jury to Review Submittals

  • September 22, 2023 - Awards Presented at the Excellence in Masonry Architectural Awards Banquet.
